The scout recalled that several talent scouts were monitoring the player at the time, creating urgency around the deal. Sadi revealed that after watching Yohanna, he contacted AIK’s chief executive officer and strongly recommended an immediate transfer.
“I was really impressed watching him play as a number 10 and on the wing. There were a lot of scouts there, and we had to move fast,” Sadi said.
He further explained that he was so convinced of the player’s quality that he urged the club to complete the transfer without delay, believing Yohanna could eventually generate a significant return on investment.
Following negotiations with the player’s representatives and club officials, the deal was reportedly finalized the same day, paving the way for Yohanna’s move to Sweden.
Since then, the young Nigerian has continued his development and caught the attention of clubs across Europe, ultimately earning a transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The move represents a remarkable achievement for Yohanna, who has progressed from amateur football in Nigeria to one of the world’s most competitive leagues in a short period.
