IK Ogbonna Breaks Down in Emotional Tribute to Alexx Ekubo at Service of Songs

The IK Ogbonna tribute to Alexx Ekubo has touched many Nigerians after the Nollywood actor delivered an emotional speech during his late friend’s Service of Songs, sharing memories of their friendship, brotherhood and the deep pain of loss. 

Speaking before family, friends and colleagues, IK Ogbonna recalled the advice Alexx Ekubo consistently gave him throughout their friendship. 

According to him, Alexx often encouraged him to draw closer to God and reminded him that he would always be there for him regardless of circumstances. 

The actor described Alexx as more than a friend, saying their bond went beyond friendship and became a brotherhood built on trust, support and genuine care. 

He reflected on countless conversations, shared experiences and moments when Alexx looked out for those he loved. 

In the heartfelt tribute, IK Ogbonna said Alexx was a source of motivation and encouragement to many people.

He described him as a wise man, a fighter and someone who carried positive energy wherever he went. 

IK Ogbonna tribute to Alexx Ekubo also highlighted the painful reality of grief. The actor admitted that despite trying to remain strong, the loss continues to affect him deeply. 

He revealed that he still finds himself wanting to share moments with Alexx, only to remember that those conversations can no longer happen. 

According to him, one of the hardest parts of losing a loved one is realizing that life continues moving forward despite the pain. 

He noted that meetings still take place, people still call and daily routines continue, even though everything has changed for those left behind.
