According to reports circulating online, the incident reportedly happened at the family residence, where several relatives, including siblings and a stepmother, were present.
Sources alleged that tensions between Ilebaye and her father had existed for some time before the situation escalated into a serious confrontation.
The reports further claimed that her father, Emmanuel Godson Odiniya, allegedly locked the house doors during the incident and physically assaulted the reality TV star before she was eventually able to access her phone and call for help.

Witness accounts shared online alleged that neighbours heard loud commotion coming from the house but were unable to gain access because the building was locked from the inside.
Viral videos and clips later surfaced online showing the BBNaija star visibly emotional during an Instagram Live session, where some viewers claimed injuries could be seen on her body.
Friends and associates in Abuja were also said to have intervened after learning about the alleged attack, helping her leave the residence in the early hours of the morning.

The reality TV star is the fourth of eight children and had previously shared moments showing support from her father during her journey on the reality show.
