A man has emotionally announced the cancellation of his wedding after discovering that he and his fiancée were medically incompatible for marriage.
In a heartfelt message addressed to family members, friends, and loved ones, the couple explained that they became aware of the issue during marriage counselling sessions with their church clergy.
According to the statement, the clergy requested their medical reports and compatibility clearance documents before proceeding with the wedding plans.
It was at that moment the couple realised they had not yet carried out important medical examinations, including genotype and blood group tests.
After immediately undergoing the required checks, doctors reportedly confirmed that they were not medically compatible for marriage due to the health risks their future children could face.
The couple explained that after deep reflection, emotional conversations, and painful consideration, they jointly decided to call off the wedding to avoid bringing children into the world who could suffer severe health complications and lifelong medical challenges.
They admitted the decision was extremely painful, especially after receiving emotional, financial, and moral support from friends and family members who had already invested in the wedding preparations.
