Arsenal have officially been crowned Premier League champions for the 2025/26 season, ending a 22-year wait for the league title after Manchester City dropped points against Bournemouth.

Arsenal have officially won the 2025/26 Premier League title, securing their first league championship in 22 years.

The Gunners were confirmed champions after Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night, leaving City unable to catch Arsenal at the top of the table.

The title triumph marks a historic achievement for Arsenal after finishing as runners-up in the previous three seasons.

One of the most painful near misses came during the 2023/24 season when Manchester City edged them to the title by just two points.

Under manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal produced a dominant and consistent campaign that finally brought the Premier League trophy back to North London.

The success also increases Arsenal’s Premier League title tally to four, moving them ahead of Liverpool and just one behind Chelsea in Premier League-era title rankings.

Only Manchester United and Manchester City have won more Premier League titles than Arsenal.

Across the full history of English top-flight football, Arsenal have now won 14 league titles, placing them behind only Liverpool and Manchester United, who both have 20 championships.

Arsenal’s triumph also continues a recent trend of different clubs winning the Premier League title in consecutive seasons.

The title was previously won by Liverpool in 2024/25 and Manchester City in 2023/24, making this one of the rare periods in Premier League history to feature three different champions in three seasons.
