Nathalie Dengone Beasnael Memoir Launch: 'We Are Not the Same' Celebrated in Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Author, humanitarian, healthcare professional, and United Nations COP Delegate Dr. Nathalie Dengone Beasnael celebrated the official launch of her deeply personal We Are Not the Same memoir with an intimate author discussion and book signing at the Madison Maison Beverly Hills Boutique.

Moderated by renowned R&B music historian Tyrone DuBose, the special afternoon gathering brought together leaders from business, entertainment, and fashion for a reflective dialogue on identity, resilience, cultural heritage, and personal growth.

The event was further highlighted by a musical performance from Grammy Award winner and President Barack Obama Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Dr. Daniel "Danny" Petersen, while host David Assil welcomed attendees with exclusive event-only boutique discounts.

During the panel discussion, Dr. Beasnael opened up about the personal experiences that shaped her manuscript, sharing stories of growing up as the daughter of a diplomat and moving fluidly across continents and cultures.

She addressed the adversity and personal obstacles she overcame while charting a path toward healing and authenticity.

A central message of the We Are Not the Same memoir is the vital importance of honoring individual lived experiences rather than measuring one's worth against others, offering readers a roadmap for discovering self-worth, navigating complex relationships, and embracing individual distinctiveness.

Beyond her literary work, Dr. Beasnael maintains an extensive international footprint in global health and advocacy as the Founder and CEO of Health4Peace, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening medical facilities in underserved rural communities across Chad, Senegal, Ghana, South Africa, and Nigeria.

Combined with her background in surgical care and her role as Director of International Affairs for MaisonDene Inc., her multifaceted career brings a global perspective to her writing.

The Beverly Hills event drew notable public figures, including designer Lovey Dash, CPA partner Jack Trent, bodybuilder Wendi Trent, ACCA Fine Arts CEO Maya Ito, playwright Marcia Gannon Avnet, producer Juliette Hagerman, and members of the Miss Africa America Pageant, celebrating a work now available globally on Amazon.
