Sarah Nwaorji Allegedly Stabs Husband to Death in Aba Following Dispute

Tragedy has struck the Seven-Up Company area in Aba North Local Government Area of Abia State following reports that a woman, identified as Sarah Nwaorji, allegedly stabbed her husband, Innocent Nwaorji, to death during a domestic altercation.

The couple, who hailed from the Amaise Umuokereke-Ngwa community in Obingwa Local Government Area, had only been married since December 2025. 

According to local residents, an argument broke out in their apartment on Friday, culminating in the fatal incident on Sunday night at approximately 10:00 PM when Sarah allegedly inflicted the fatal stab wound.

Neighbors and associates expressed deep shock over the tragic event, describing the late Innocent as an easy-going individual and noting that the young marriage had yet to produce children. 

Following the altercation, the suspect was taken into police custody, while the victim's body was transferred to a local mortuary in Aba. 

Official comments from the Abia State Police Command remain pending as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal domestic dispute.
