MultiChoice Nigeria had earlier announced that the new season would debut on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with a record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize, the highest prize package since the reality show first aired in 2006.
The launch show will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family. Fans can also follow the action through the 24-hour live channel available on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49.
Viewers who prefer online streaming can watch BBNaija Season 11 live through the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream platforms.
The winner of this year’s competition will receive ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, bringing the total value of the grand prize to ₦160 million.
Speaking ahead of the premiere, MultiChoice’s Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa, Atinuke Babatunde, said the new season is designed to raise the bar with bigger surprises, fresh twists and an exciting lineup of contestants.
According to her, Big Brother Naija has continued to redefine entertainment across Africa through authentic storytelling, memorable personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers, adding that Season 11 will feature higher stakes and engaging gameplay from the premiere to the finale.
Preparations for the new season began earlier in the year with physical auditions held between May 22 and May 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. Participation was free and open to Nigerians aged 21 years and above who possessed valid means of identification.
Returning to host BBNaija Season 11 is Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who will once again guide viewers through the competition as housemates face strategic challenges, weekly tasks, nominations, evictions and unexpected twists.
The new edition follows the successful conclusion of BBNaija Season 10, which ended on October 5, 2025. Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerged as the winner after defeating 28 other contestants to claim a prize package worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash and a sport utility vehicle.
Eligible DStv and GOtv subscribers will be able to vote for their favourite housemates through the MyDStv and MyGOtv self-service applications. Subscribers who upgrade their packages will also enjoy additional voting benefits throughout the season.
With a historic prize fund, returning host, fresh housemates and new twists, BBNaija Season 11 is expected to attract millions of viewers across Nigeria and the rest of Africa as the competition for the ₦160 million grand prize begins.
