US-Iran Peace Deal Signals Potential End to Months of Conflict.

A major diplomatic breakthrough may have been achieved in the Middle East following reports that the United States and Iran have agreed to a peace deal aimed at ending months of military confrontation.

According to an announcement made by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, both countries have reached an agreement that includes the immediate and permanent termination of military operations across all fronts.

Sharif stated that an official signing ceremony is expected to take place in Switzerland on June 19.

The development comes after more than three months of escalating tensions and military exchanges that affected several countries in the region and disrupted global energy markets.

US President Donald Trump also appeared to confirm the agreement, stating that the deal with Iran had been completed.

He further announced plans to reopen maritime routes through the Strait of Hormuz and end restrictions affecting shipping operations in the region.

The US-Iran peace deal could have significant implications for global oil supplies, as the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most important routes for transporting crude oil and natural gas.

Despite the announcements, there was initially no immediate confirmation from Iranian authorities.

Earlier statements from Tehran had indicated that negotiations were still ongoing, particularly following renewed tensions involving Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Pakistan, which played a mediation role in the discussions, credited diplomatic efforts by regional partners including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey for helping both sides move toward an agreement.

The conflict began earlier this year following military strikes involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The hostilities later expanded across multiple fronts, affecting regional security and international trade routes.

If fully implemented, the US-Iran peace deal could mark one of the most significant diplomatic developments in the Middle East in recent years, offering renewed hope for stability and economic recovery across the region.

For now, global attention remains focused on official confirmations from all parties and the anticipated signing ceremony expected later this week.
