Pastor Recounts How Church Member Allegedly Scammed Him With Fake Dubai Visa Promise

A pastor has narrated how a church member allegedly deceived him with a fake Dubai visa promise and withheld his international passport, leaving him stranded and frustrated. 

According to the pastor, the church member approached him with an offer to assist him in obtaining a visa to Dubai for a short vacation. 

He claimed the individual told him he could only process the pastor’s visa and not that of his wife due to financial constraints. 

Excited by the opportunity, the pastor handed over his passport and began preparing for the trip. 

He recalled informing family members about his planned departure and making arrangements to arrive at the airport hours before the scheduled flight. 

However, things took an unexpected turn when he arrived at the airport and could not reach the church member. 

Despite repeated phone calls throughout the night, the individual allegedly failed to answer and later became completely unreachable. 

The pastor said the disappointment of missing the trip was not his greatest concern. Instead, he was more troubled by the loss of his passport, which he claimed remained in the church member’s possession. 

According to him, the incident forced him to undergo the stressful process of obtaining a new international passport. He insisted that the passport was not lost accidentally but was deliberately withheld. 

The pastor further revealed that he did not see the church member again until several years later when he reportedly spotted him crossing a road. 

Recalling the moment, he expressed his lingering frustration over the experience.
