INEC Restores NDC Nomination Portal, Party Uploads Peter Obi and Seriake Dickson

INEC restores NDC nomination portal, allowing the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to upload the names of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and its National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, despite an ongoing legal dispute over the party’s status. 

The development was disclosed by the NDC, which said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reactivated the party’s access to its nomination portal, enabling it to proceed with the submission of candidate details. 

According to the party, the restored access allows it to upload the names of Peter Obi and Senator Seriake Dickson while the legal proceedings concerning the party’s recognition continue in court. 

The announcement was confirmed by NDC National Leader, Henry Dickson, who said the restoration of the portal represents a significant step for the party as it continues preparations for the electoral process.
