Popular social media commentator VeryDarkMan has sparked widespread reactions online after releasing a viral video in which he urged Nigerians not to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general election.
In the emotional video, VeryDarkMan sarcastically addressed repeated claims on social media alleging that he works for the ruling party.
The online personality jokingly described himself as an “employee” of the APC while pleading with Nigerians not to support the party in future elections.
According to him, he had allegedly “seen the system” and concluded that the party could not move Nigeria forward.
VeryDarkMan also warned Nigerians against selling their votes for money, bags of rice, or other temporary benefits during election campaigns.
The activist argued that the country’s worsening insecurity and economic hardship require citizens to make more thoughtful decisions at the polls.
During the video, he compared the small amounts allegedly distributed during elections with the large ransom payments demanded by kidnappers and criminal groups operating across the country.
He questioned why some Nigerians would exchange their votes for small financial gifts despite the serious security and economic challenges affecting the nation.
The social media critic further appealed to his followers to share the video widely, especially with people living in rural communities ahead of the 2027 elections.
