The party’s National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, disclosed the development in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to him, the sale of forms will begin from May 13 to May 18, 2026, as part of preparations for the party’s internal electoral process.
Cleopas explained that aspirants seeking elective positions under the platform of the NDC must participate in the screening exercise and present all required credentials and supporting documents before purchasing nomination forms.
The party stated that completed forms must be submitted on or before May 25, while appeals arising from the screening exercise will be handled between May 25 and 26.

Primary elections for various positions are expected to take place on May 27 and 28, while the presidential primary election is scheduled for May 29, 2026, in Abuja.
Under the approved fee structure, aspirants contesting for State Houses of Assembly seats will pay N2.5 million for both expression of interest and nomination forms. House of Representatives aspirants are expected to pay N6 million, while Senate aspirants will pay N8 million.
Governorship hopefuls under the party will pay N30 million, while the NDC presidential nomination form for the 2027 election has been fixed at N60 million, consisting of N20 million for the expression of interest form and N40 million for the nomination form.
The party also announced discounts for female aspirants and persons living with disabilities. Female aspirants are expected to pay 50 percent of the approved fees, while persons living with disabilities will enjoy a 25 percent reduction across all categories.
According to the NDC leadership, the fees remain among the lowest compared to those charged by some major political parties in Nigeria.
The party further revealed that it will adopt an open secret ballot system during the primaries, which it says is aimed at promoting transparency, fairness, and internal democracy.
The announcement of the NDC presidential nomination form for the 2027 election marks another major political development as parties continue preparations for the next electoral cycle in Nigeria.
