The #MbappeOut petition began trending on social media earlier this week after Mbappe was seen vacationing on a yacht in Sardinia while recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since late April.
Many Real Madrid fans accused the striker of lacking commitment during a difficult period for the club, as Madrid continue to struggle domestically and in Europe.

The petition, which originally aimed for 200,000 signatures, quickly exploded online and became one of the biggest football-related fan campaigns in recent history.
Reports indicate that nearly 12 million signatures were gathered within the first 24 hours, although questions remain about the authenticity of some entries. Despite the controversy, Mbappe remains La Liga’s top scorer this season.
However, his prolonged absence, combined with reports of tension between him, teammates, and members of the coaching staff, has intensified frustration among supporters.
Real Madrid are currently trailing rivals Barcelona by 11 points in the La Liga title race and have already been eliminated from both the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey, adding to the disappointment among fans.
In response to the backlash, representatives of the French international dismissed the criticism, describing it as an “overinterpretation” of his recovery process.
They maintained that Mbappe’s rehabilitation programme has been supervised by Real Madrid’s medical staff and insisted that the player remains fully committed to the club.
