The respected music executive and founder of Coded Tunes spoke out against narratives that discourage Christians from pursuing careers in mainstream music, describing such views as misleading and limiting.
According to Cabasa, the idea that the secular music industry belongs to the devil is fundamentally flawed. He explained that while sinful behavior may exist within any environment, it does not define the entire space or strip it of purpose.
Sharing his perspective publicly, he emphasized that the world, including the creative industry, belongs to God, not to any opposing force. He argued that avoiding the industry entirely only creates a vacuum that allows undesirable influences to dominate.
Cabasa encouraged Christian creatives to see themselves as agents of change rather than outsiders. In his view, the real problem is not merely the presence of wrongdoing but the absence of enough positive influence to counter it.
