Igbokwe made the statement in a post shared on his Facebook page, expressing strong confidence in the president’s political standing and chances of re-election.
According to him, there is no political “magic” that can produce victory without structure, preparation, and substance. He suggested that any attempt to unseat Tinubu in 2027 would remain within the imagination of the opposition.
“Without sounding immodest I can tell you that PBAT has no rival. There is no magic that will make people stand with you if you do not have anything to bring to the table. There is always a payday for every good work. Victory beckons for PBAT,” he wrote.
Igbokwe also reflected on Tinubu’s long political career, stating that the president waited more than two decades before contesting for the nation’s highest office.
“He marked his time for more than 20 years waiting for the right time to throw his hat into the ring. It came in 2023. He is now PBAT and he is reworking Nigeria. Now, in your wildest imaginations you think you will unseat him. Where is the muscle?” he added.
Tinubu, who assumed office in 2023, is expected to seek re-election in 2027, although formal campaign activities are yet to begin.
