Husband Arrested After 'Mummy Calm Down' Boy's Mother Commits Suicide

The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Mrs. Toluige Olokoobi's husband, the mother of the "mummy calm down" boy, following her tragic suicide. The news of Olokoobi's death emerged after an X user reported the incident on social media.

According to reports, Olokoobi committed suicide in front of her one-year-old son. She worked as a medicine distributor, while her husband was a taxi driver and car dealer. The husband discovered her lifeless body when he returned from the market, and she was rushed to the hospital, but she was declared dead.

The Edo State Police Command spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the husband's arrest, and he is currently detained for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.
