Prime Boy Turns Himself in to Police Over Mohbad's Death

Afro singer and songwriter Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Prime Boy, has voluntarily surrendered to the police after being declared wanted in connection with the death of his childhood friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad).

Mohbad, a former artist signed to Naira Marley's record label, tragically passed away at the age of 27 in Lagos on September 12th.

Recall that the Lagos State Police Command had declared Prime Boy wanted when he failed to respond to a police invitation. However, within 24 hours of being declared wanted, Prime Boy turned himself in.

In an exclusive interview with TVC News just before his surrender, Prime Boy denied all allegations against him, expressing shock and sadness over Mohbad's death. He vehemently denied any involvement in harming his friend.

Prime Boy also criticized Mohbad's wife for accusing him of being involved in the death, suggesting that she should be questioned about the circumstances.

He clarified that he had not received a police invitation before being declared wanted, and he had intended to turn himself in earlier. Prime Boy is currently in police custody.
