Multichoice Nigeria, the mastermind behind the immensely popular reality TV show, BBNaija, has revealed an astonishing investment of ₦5.5 billion in the recently concluded "All Stars" edition, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch entertainment.
The announcement was made by Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels, during the grand prize presentation ceremony held in Lagos on October 3, 2023. This edition of BBNaija, which captivated the nation, received an astounding 1.53 billion votes from viewers all over Nigeria.
The winner of this exhilarating season, Ilebaye Odiniya, was presented with a substantial ₦120 million cash prize and the keys to her brand-new SUV courtesy of Innosons Motors.
Tejumola proudly highlighted that the production of BBNaija "All Stars" was a massive undertaking that involved the dedication of over 2,000 talented individuals. This not only delivered exceptional entertainment but also made a significant impact on employment in the region.
She further revealed, "This year, we committed a substantial sum of ₦5.5 billion, covering production costs, construction, fittings, technical aspects, licensing, satellite operations, and marketing, ensuring the highest quality for our viewers."
