Conor McGregor, a UFC fighter, was arrested in Ireland for unsafe driving.
Marca reports that the 33-year-old Mixed Martial Artist was arrested in West
Dublin on Wednesday while driving his Bentley Continental GT, which is valued
at roughly $200,000.
His luxurious automobile was also taken after his detention, according to the
Irish Independent.
Conor McGregor, the highest-paid athlete in the world in 2021, was taken to
the Lucan Garda station and freed on bail.
A fine or six months in prison, or both, is the maximum penalty for dangerous
driving.
