Three kids accused of being involved in the death of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student at Dowen College in Lekki Lagos, were summoned by the police on Monday and transported to the SCID for questioning. Their parents and lawyers followed them to the police station. Following a social media post by his cousin, who claimed that some senior students at the college beat him up in his hostel for refusing to join a cult, word of his death spread quickly.
The school dismissed the claim, claiming that the youngster had complained of leg and hip pain as a result of a football injury.
