Abia has been unlucky with leaders since 1999 - APGA

The All Progressive Grand Alliance's Abia State chapter has claimed that the state has been unlucky with its choice of leaders since 1999.

This was stated by the party's State Chairman, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, during a press conference in Aba on Thursday.

The party chastised the state government for allegedly harassing them through a member of the state House of Assembly. 

"The people of Abia State have suffered severe economic hardship, strangulations, and subjugation at the hands of political thugs who forced themselves on the people as leaders in the business of governance in the state since 1999 until date," he said. 

The N27 billion was allocated specifically for the construction of Port Harcourt Road, Obohia, Ohanku, and Ngwa roads in Aba.
