For various offenses, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has ordered seven corps members deployed in Abia for the Batch 'B' Stream 1, 2020/2021, to repeat their service year.
Mr Denis Jingi, the NYSC State Coordinator, stated this on Friday in Umuahia during a low-key passing out ceremony and certificate presentation to outgoing corps members.
According to Jingi, 792 corps members graduated, with five receiving commendations for their outstanding service.
Because of the sit-at-home order, the distribution, which was originally scheduled for Thursday across the country, was moved to Friday in the South-East.
