Anti-narcotics agents carried out the operation along the Pan-American Highway near the border city of Tulcan following an anonymous tip. Upon searching a suspicious truck, officers uncovered 370 rectangular packages weighing a combined 469 kilograms (1,034 pounds) concealed within a false bottom.
Police arrested the driver, identified as a Colombian national named María R., as part of the border interdiction.
Law enforcement officials explained that applying stickers of world-famous athletes like Haaland is a standard branding mechanism used by transnational cartels to mark product origin, purity, or specific buyer networks.
