According to the man, he rented an apartment during his service year and lived in a compound owned by a landlady who had an adult daughter.
He recalled that the daughter frequently brought him meals, a gesture he gladly accepted without questioning the motivation behind it. "Who doesn't like free food?" he joked while narrating the experience.
At first, he believed the family was simply being kind and hospitable. However, he later began to notice what he described as possible signs of special interest.
The daughter would often visit his apartment, sit with him, and watch television late into the evening. Despite the frequent visits, the landlady reportedly never objected or expressed any concerns.
The situation changed when he invited his then-girlfriend, who is now his wife, to visit him. According to him, the atmosphere in the compound shifted almost immediately after the visit.
He claimed the landlady became distant and stopped responding warmly to his greetings, while her daughter also began treating him differently.
Most notably, the regular supply of free meals suddenly came to an end. The former corps member said the tension continued until the end of his service year, after which he moved out of the apartment.
Reflecting on the experience years later, he admitted that he still does not know whether the family genuinely hoped he would develop a relationship with the daughter or whether he simply misunderstood the situation.
