Victor Udoh’s Mother Reportedly Orders Arrest Of Friends, Girlfriend After Footballer’s Death

The mother of late Nigerian footballer Victor Udoh has reportedly ordered the arrest of some of his friends and girlfriend following his sudden death in Abuja under suspected poisoning circumstances. 

Fresh developments have emerged following the tragic death of Nigerian footballer Victor Akaniyene Udoh, who reportedly died earlier this week in Abuja under suspicious circumstances. 

According to reports circulating online, the mother of the late footballer has allegedly ordered the arrest of some of his friends and girlfriend after his sudden death. 

Paris-based sports journalist Ojora Babatunde disclosed that the arrests followed suspicions surrounding possible food or alcohol poisoning linked to events before the footballer’s death. 

Victor Udoh, who was 21 years old, reportedly became seriously ill after spending time with friends before he was later found unresponsive.

The young striker was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away despite efforts to save his life. 

Authorities are yet to officially confirm the exact cause of death, while investigations into the incident are reportedly ongoing. 

The death of the former Royal Antwerp player has continued to generate emotional reactions across social media, with fans and members of the football community mourning the loss of the promising talent. 

Udoh had reportedly played for clubs including Royal Antwerp, Southampton FC, and Czech side SK Dynamo České Budějovice during his developing football career.
