Manchester City boosted their Premier League title hopes with a convincing 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium. The important Manchester City vs Crystal Palace result moved Pep Guardiola’s side within two points of Arsenal with only two league games remaining this season. 

Manchester City secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace to maintain pressure in the Premier League title race and extend their unbeaten home run to 17 matches.

The breakthrough finally came just after the half-hour mark when Phil Foden produced a clever backheel pass that allowed Antoine Semenyo to score past Dean Henderson and put City ahead. 

Manchester City doubled their lead before halftime, with Omar Marmoush finishing calmly after another impressive assist from Phil Foden, who played a key role throughout the match. 

Crystal Palace attempted to respond in the second half by introducing attacking substitutions, including Ismaila Sarr and Adam Wharton, but Guardiola’s men remained firmly in control. 

The Manchester City vs Crystal Palace clash was effectively sealed in the 84th minute when Savinho finished brilliantly after a superb assist from substitute Rayan Cherki. 

The result leaves Manchester City just two points behind Arsenal in the Premier League standings, while Crystal Palace continue to struggle domestically with only one win from their last seven league games.
Attention will now shift to Manchester City’s FA Cup final clash against Chelsea, while Palace prepare for their UEFA Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano.
