Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has reportedly failed to secure the House of Representatives ticket for Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State.
The celebrity barman and nightlife entrepreneur had earlier announced his intention to contest for the seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Cubana Chief Priest had formally made his ambition known during a visit to the All Progressives Congress secretariat in Imo State, where he sought the support and blessings of party leaders. He also urged party members to remain united as preparations for the elections continue.
However, fresh reports now indicate that the socialite was unsuccessful in his attempt to clinch the House of Representatives ticket, Out of 2845 voters only 14 voted for Cubana Chief Priest in the primary.
Details surrounding the outcome of the process remain unclear at the time of filing this report.
