The Tinubu cabinet reshuffle has seen major changes in Nigeria’s economic leadership, as Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved the removal of key ministers and the appointment of new officials.

Key Changes in the Cabinet
According to a memo signed by George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation:
Wale Edun has been removed as Minister of Finance
Ahmed Musa Dangiwa has also been relieved of his duties
Taiwo Oyedele is now the new Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy
Oyedele previously served as Minister of State in the same ministry.
New Appointment in Housing Ministry
Muttaqha Rabe Darma has been named Minister-designate for Housing and Urban Development
Pending confirmation, Dangiwa has been directed to hand over to the Minister of State.

Reason for the Reshuffle
The presidency stated that the Tinubu cabinet reshuffle aims to:
