Members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, were in Abuja on Wednesday as they joined supporters at the “Save Democracy” protest held at Maitama Roundabout in the Federal Capital Territory.
Obi had announced the protest via his X handle earlier today, urging Nigerians to rise in defence of the nation’s democratic system.
He stated that leaders and members of the ADC, alongside other concerned citizens, organised the demonstration in response to what they described as growing threats to Nigeria’s democracy.
