JAMB 2026 UTME results
The JAMB 2026 UTME results have been officially released as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the first batch of scores for candidates who sat for the examination.
The 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) began on Thursday across 966 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide, with over 2.2 million candidates expected to participate.
First Batch of Results Released
According to JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin:
Results for 632,788 candidates have been released
These candidates sat for the exam on April 16, 2026
More results will be released in batches as the exam continues
“The results… are now available for viewing,” the board confirmed.
How to Check Your Result
Candidates can check their JAMB 2026 UTME results via SMS:
Send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019
Use the same phone number used during registration
JAMB noted that result printing is not yet available.
Warning Against Result Manipulation
The board issued a strong warning against falsifying results.
JAMB revealed that:
Two candidates and one parent are already in custody
They were allegedly involved in result manipulation using AI and electronic methods
“Any candidate found culpable will face the full consequences of the law,” Benjamin stated.
The UTME is still in progress nationwide, and JAMB assured candidates that additional results will continue to be released in phases.
