Labour Party's candidate, Peter Obi, lauded Nollywood actress Funke Akindele's movie, 'A Tribe Called Judah,' as a powerful depiction of the struggles faced by less-privileged Nigerians. 

In a statement shared via his verified social media handle, Obi commended the film for its monumental achievement of grossing N1 billion within just three weeks of release, setting an unprecedented record in the Nollywood industry.

Impressed by the movie's success, Obi highlighted its significance in shedding light on the intricate challenges encountered by underprivileged families striving for survival in Nigeria. 

He praised Akindele's directorial prowess and storytelling ability, emphasizing that 'A Tribe Called Judah' symbolizes a historic milestone in the Nigerian film industry.
