Bad news for Tottenham. Cristian Romero will be out for 4-5 weeks due to hamstring injury.

"Romero had a scan and he's got a hamstring strain. We're looking at four to five weeks with him", Postecoglou confirms.

Tottenham Hotspur faces fresh challenges as defender Romero sustains an injury setback, adding to their woes in the absence of his center-back partner, Micky van de Ven.

Manager Postecoglou disclosed Romero's injury ahead of their match against Brighton, confirming the defender's unavailability for four to five weeks following a scan.

Expressing concerns about the team's injury situation, Postecoglou mentioned that despite a few players having sore bodies, the rest of the squad managed to navigate through recent training sessions relatively unscathed.

Regarding van de Ven's return, Postecoglou downplayed earlier statements made by the player about an imminent return, cautioning against undue optimism.

He hinted that while the player might not be available for the Burnley game, there's a possibility of his comeback for the clash against Manchester United, though the final decision rests on assessing his progress in training.
