Kenneth Petty, the spouse of rapper Nicki Minaj, has been sentenced to 120 days of house arrest for violating probation terms by making threatening comments online, particularly targeting rapper Offset, Cardi B's husband.
The court order, filed in California, cited video evidence of Petty making these threats while in the company of someone with a criminal record.
Petty had previously been sentenced to three years of probation in 2022 for failing to register as a sex offender.
His past includes a 1995 conviction for attempted rape and a four-year prison sentence.
An LA federal judge has ordered Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, to serve "up to" 120 days on home detention for "making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record."
