Victory Gbakara, a 26-year-old singer from Delta State, has claimed victory in the eighth season of the Nigerian Idol music reality show.
She outperformed her fellow contestant, Precious Mac, to secure the coveted grand prize of 35 million naira in cash, a recording deal, and a travel experience, among other valuable rewards.
