President Buhari has stated that his administration has followed through on the transformation agenda that it promised Nigerians in 2015, particularly in the area of affordable housing.
On Tuesday, May 2, the President made the remarks when commissioning a housing complex in Zuba, Abuja.

The President further stated that the new housing estate was addressing multidimensional poverty because the beneficiaries had moved up the economic ladder and away from poverty.
He went on to say that housing investments provided jobs for artisans and other skilled members of society. He asked estate residents to actively collaborate with the FHA to ensure the property's upkeep and the safety of the environment.
"The new homeowners who benefit from this estate have taken a step up on the ladder of prosperity and away from poverty. One of the measures that we have consciously deployed to attack poverty, create prosperity and develop our economy is the aggressive provision of infrastructure nationwide." MR Buhari said
