Takeoff is reportedly dead after being shot in Houston along with Quavo, another rapper from the Migos.
The members of the group Migos, Takeoff, Quavo, and Cardi B's husband, are all related by blood.
The initial claim that Quavo had also been shot has been debunked.
Twitter has been flooded with condolences for Takeoff, who is now trending even in Nigeria.
According to TMZ, Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice at the bowling alley when an altercation broke out, someone started shooting and a bullet hit Takeoff.
The fatal incident happened early Tuesday morning and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
