Kanye West bought a house across the street from his split wife Kim Kardashian, read (here).

The rapper purchased the home in order to be closer to his children.

Kim lives with her four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, according to the story. 

"It made perfect sense for him to have a house near the kids," the person claimed. 

"When it first went on the market in early December, he grabbed it up quickly, and the escrow closed soon before Christmas."

The Calabasas house, according to the insider, stands on a 1-acre parcel that is "ideal to be converted into whatever he dreams up."
