Kidnappers who kidnapped two University of Abuja professors and other staff members have been apprehended.
Recall that on Monday, some criminal elements suspected of being kidnappers broke into the university's staff quarters and whisked some residents away to an unknown destination, read here.
The kidnappers contacted the victims' families a day after their kidnapping and demanded N300 million in exchange for their release, read here.
DSP Josephine Adeh, the Federal Capital Territory Command's Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed their release to DAILY POST on Friday morning.
The development, she said, came as a result of the command's efforts in a joint operation with other security agencies.
Security operatives have apprehended some suspects linked to the crime, she said. The PPRO, on the other hand, was unable to say whether a ransom was paid before their release.
