More than 76,420 Nigerians who have signed the ICC petition, demanding Buhari’s prosecution on Friday is nowhere to be found on Change.org at the time of filling this.
According to a Javascript message in Change.org, the petition now violates it's community Guidelines, - "This petition isn't available. Either the URL is incorrect, it violated our Community Guidelines, or the starter removed it."
The petition, which was filed on Wednesday, was brought after the Lagos #EndSARS panel implicated the Buhari administration in its findings.
The petition is the first of Nigerian origin to reach that milestone in two days, with over 75,471 signatures.
'A Plea to the International Criminal Court to Arraign Muhammadu Buhari for Crimes Against Humanity,' reads the petition.
The petition asked the International Criminal Court to try and imprison Buhari for crimes against humanity allegedly committed at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020.
"Following the murders of these demonstrators, the Buhari administration denied that the incident ever occurred," Omokri claimed in the petition.
"Those, like me, who insisted on confirmation that the slaughter took place were threatened. The government even threatened to imprison anyone who demanded that those responsible for the murders be brought to justice."
