Catherine Udeh, also known as DJ Switch, a Nigerian disc jockey, has reacted to the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and Other Matters report.
At least nine people were proven deceased at the Lekki toll plaza on the night soldiers stormed there to disrupt #EndSARS protests on October 20, 2020, according to the panel's report, read here
This was stated in the report delivered to the Lagos State Government on Monday by the Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel, read here also
"Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine," DJ Switch tweeted on her verified Twitter page. Only for what you fought so hard to keep hidden to be made public... by you! The truth doesn't need to be defended! #EndSARS.”
Last year, the DJ rose to notoriety when she used her Instagram profile to broadcast live footage of demonstrators being shot at by Nigerian Army forces at the Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS protests that swept the country.
While the majority of Nigerians applauded her bravery, the DJ claims she is on the run from the Nigerian authorities.
