Aliko Dangote, loses brother, Sani

Sani Dangote, the Dangote Group's vice president and Aliko Dangote's brother, has died. 

Sani Dangote, a Nigerian businessman, died in the United States on Sunday after a long illness. 

The death was confirmed by the Dangote Group in a brief statement issued late Sunday night. 

"INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN! INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN!" We announce the passing of our Group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote, today, November 14, 2021, with a heavy heart but complete submission to Almighty Allah.

"May Allah SWT Grant him mercy and Admit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus"! Before his death, Sani was well-known as the chairman of Dansa Holdings, a beverage-producing affiliate of the Dangote Group. 

Dansa Foods Limited, Dansa Energy, Sagas Energy Limited, Bulk Pack Services Limited, Dansa Agro Allied Limited, and Dangote Farms Limited are among his other businesses.
