The Kano State Government has denied reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had arrested Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's wife, Hafsat.
Muhammad Garba, the state's Commissioner for Information, expressed regret that the "false story" could not be traced back to a credible source like the EFCC.
He went on to say that the false story is being spread on social media without the government or the commission's approval.
