The Central Bank of Nigeria's eNaira Wallet app was removed from Google Play Store just 36 hours after it was released.

To use the eNaira, users must first download the'speed wallet,' which allows them to conduct transactions quickly and easily.
It is the eNaira's digital storage, which is held and managed on a distributed ledger.
Users had previously given the app a low rating and filed several complaints on the Google Play Store.
However, the eNaira Merchant App, which has received a lot of positive feedback, is now available for download.
Within 24 hours of its release, the eNaira App had been downloaded by over 100,000 people.
Users who downloaded the application reported that they were not prompted to update the 8.76 megabyte app.
As of 5:45 p.m. on Monday, the eNaira speed wallet had a rating of 2.0 out of a possible 5.0 from 2,150 reviews on Google Play, with users complaining of glitches.
It's unclear whether Google took down the App due to the low rating and negative reviews.
