Dominic Tega, the husband of Big Brother Naija housemate Shine Ya Eye, has admitted to cheating on his wife.
Tega's husband, Ajeboh Krislawrence, took to his official Instagram page on Tuesday to beg forgiveness from his wife while describing how his marriage has been jeopardized due to his infidelity.
"First and foremost, I adore my wife," Tega's husband stated. However, I would like to state that our marriage, like many other marriages, is not perfect. We are two flawed individuals.
"“The last 24 hours have been hell for our family. I've wronged my wife in a variety of ways, but cheating on her was the straw that broke the couple's bond. Please keep in mind that I am not perfect before passing judgment.
I'm not the best husband, as you all believe."
He explained how he cheated on Tega, saying, "I cheated on my wife in our matrimonial home."
This is not something I am proud of. This blunder has caused so much damage in our marriage that she has threatened to leave our once-happy home.
"In my own small way, I've attempted to make amends for everything I've done wrong." I've tried to be a better man by supporting her dreams, campaigning for and defending her. All of this is done, however, while she is not present.
"She isn't deserving of me." She is entitled to happiness and peace of mind. And if she does or says anything just to spite me, it's because I deserve it.
"I'm sorry for not being the man you expected me to be for you, babe. I apologize for everything. I'm just a man who made a mistake and hoped to be forgiven.
"I adore my wife and will always be there for her. Even if she does not forgive me, I wish the best for her because she has been the most wonderful woman in my life. God bless you all for your prayers and encouragement."
