Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp explains why Liverpool where knock out of Champions League by Real Madrid. 

Liverpool were knocked out of the 2020-21 Champions League campaign last night by Real Madrid on a 3-1 aggregate after a goal-less draw at Anfield.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has stated that Liverpool lost the tie after the first leg. Klopp’s side lost the first leg 3-1 at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano. 

"You always need these key moments. The performance, in general, was good." We didn't lose the tie tonight, we definitely lost it in Madrid," Jürgen Klopp said.
