Roman Abramovich gives Clear Contract Message to Tuchel

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel given clear contract message by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.


Tuchel was given an 18-month contract with Chelsea, keeping him in west London until June 2022.


This contract is with high incentives, with a clause giving him the option to stay if the German can keep the Blues in the Champions League for two seasons.


The German took over from Frank Lampard earlier this month with the Blues currently sitting at 7 spot in the league table.

According to the report, the German’s deal will be extended if he can keep them in the Champions League this season and next.


Meaning that the Blues have to finish in the Premier League top four on both occasions.


The 47-year-old have won and draw his first two games, at Stamford Bridge.
