This evening, the Lega Serie A announced the dates of the 2020-21 season.
The Lega Council met today at 19.00 (local time) and unanimously resolved that Serie A TIM 2020-21 will start on the weekend of September 19.
The decision confirms the preference already expressed in the afternoon by the majority of the clubs in a meeting dedicated to this topic.
It was first thought the league would start on September 12. As repored by Sky, the league should end on May 23.
Also, it is expected that the Christmas break will be from December 23 to January 3.
There will most likely be 5 midweek games, in additional to the one scheduled for January 5.
