President Buhari has approved immediate payments of the two months withheld salaries of University lecturers that refused to enroll in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS.
This came yesterday after a meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige in Abuja.
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige said that President Buhari has directed the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed and the Accountant General of the Federation to immediately effect the payment of February and March salaries to university lecturers.
