Manchester City FC banned for two seasons in UEFA Champions League
Manchester City has been banned by UEFA from European competitions for the next two seasons.
The Premier League giant was imposed with punishment by UEFA, European football’s governing body, for breaches of their financial fair play rules. City have also been fined 30m euros (£25m).
Meanwhile, City have appealed in a statement said, "disappointed but not surprised by the outcome of a prejudicial process and would now seek an impartial judgment by commencing CAS proceedings at the earliest opportunity".
